Town of Brookfield-based HSI Properties plans to build a four-story, 87-unit market rate apartment building at 1887 N. Water St. on the East Side of Milwaukee.
An industrial building will be demolished on the property, which is owned by Tomich Riverfront Properties LLC.
The proposed 120,853-square-foot building would have 97-below grade parking spaces. Eppstein Uhen Architects is the designer for the project.

The project is one of several apartment buildings that are planned or under construction in the downtown and East Side areas.
