What does your daily or weekly fitness regimen consist of?
3 days per week cardio – 30 minutes and 2 days per week curcuit trainig with weights – 20 minutes. 3 – 20 minute walks with my wife per week

Other than the obvious health benefits, how has being fit improved your life?
I am a much more positive person to my family and those around me. Confidence and a less stressed life style are the two major benefits of being fit.
How does personal fitness affect your work life?
Being fit allows me to bring a very high energy level to the work place therefore I am able to lead our wonderful National Premium team effectively.
Do you have a corporate health or wellness initiative?
Yes
What health/wellness organizations do you contract with, if any?
None – we have a very organized wellness program here at National Premium.
How does fitness or wellness affect your overall organization?
Approximately 17% of our work force is actually on our Wellness Committee. The committee is very active with weekly nutrition activities and regularly scheduled positive wellness activities.
What advice do you have for other executives interested in starting either a personal fitness plan or corporate wellness initiative?
Make the time to be well – it is worth every minute! Your team will appreciate it and you will be a much more effective leader. I have said if you can bring a clear mind and a healthy body to your work place then you are really giving it all you have to give.
