Green Bay company acquires division of Georgia-Pacific

Green Bay-based Tosca Limited, a provider of reusable container pooling and logistics services to the food supply chain, announced today it has acquired the reusable plastic container division of Georgia-Pacific LLC.

The acquisition expands the company’s portfolio of products and services offered to customers in the produce, dairy, beverage and protein industries.
“The acquisition of GP RPC allows Tosca to expand its available services to its customers, including food and beverage processors, produce growers, grocery retailers and foodservice operators,” said John Frey, chief executive officer of Tosca. “GP RPC’s exceptional team, customer focus and premier products and services are an ideal fit with Tosca’s existing platform. The goal is to maintain our position as a nimble, customer service-centric organization. Our combined companies are well-positioned and capitalized to take advantage of the substantial growth in demand for reusable container pooling services.”
The GP RPC management team and all current employees will join Tosca in conjunction with the transaction. All three of GP RPC’s facilities located in Memphis, Tenn.; Garland, Texas; and King City, Calif., will continue to operate as part of the Tosca organization.
