Celebrate Organic Harvest Month with an organic cookout, kid’s games, free samples and a drumming circle

Good Harvest Market will host its annual Harvest Health Fair at its Waukesha location on Saturday, Sept. 26, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., to celebrate Organic Harvest Month. Good Harvest has partnered with Teddy Bears for Kids and its "Bear to Make a Difference" campaign, and hopes to collect 1000 new, or gently used, stuffed animals for area children in need.

"Good Harvest Market is excited to host this year’s health fair to promote healthy living and help a charity in need," said Jody Nolan, store owner. "We offer the largest selection of organic and gluten free products in the area, including a variety of quality meat, fish and produce. This year, more than 30 local health professionals at the fair will help educate and inspire people to live healthier, less stressed, lives."

The Harvest Health Fair includes an organic cookout with grilled corn-on-the-cob and brats, as well as door prizes, free food and wine samples, and several specials, such as $7.99 Wild Coho Salmon & King Crab Legs. Kids will enjoy games like the fun frog toss and milk bottle knock down. Everyone who donates a stuffed animal will receive a ticket for a kid’s game and a $5 store coupon. Kids can also enjoy some crafts by making their own "Teddy Bear Bracelet." Workshops like "Gluten Free and Loving It!" and "Moving Through Change with Ease and Grace" will help educate and inspire healthier living.
