Fortune 500 company to expand office space in West Allis

Melville, N.Y.-based Henry Schein Inc. plans to convert 30,000 square feet of warehouse space into office space at its West Allis facility at 10920 W. Lincoln Ave. The 109,000-square-foot building is owned by H&S Properties.

Henry Schein is a Fortune 500 company that claims to be the world’s largest provider of health care products and services to office-based dental, animal health and medical practitioners.

The firm needs additional space for office, support, sales and customer service functions, according to a city of West Allis report. It has moved its Service Parts Distribution Center out of its West Allis facility and plans to convert the 30,000 square feet of space into office space, which will include offices, conference rooms and training centers.

The cost of the project is estimated at $800,000.

The company’s existing office area in the building will be remodeled into a design center with new offices, conference rooms, a break room and restrooms.
