The former Discovery World and James Lovell Museum of Science, Economics & Technology property has been placed on the market. The 42,000-square-foot facility is located at 815 N. James Lovell St., Milwaukee, and is attached to the Milwaukee Public Museum and Humphrey IMAX Dome Theater.
The Boerke Company Inc. was hired to market the property. The listing broker is Terence McMahon. The four-story building could be a good location for a multi-level entertainment venue, retail business or educational facility, The Boerke Company said.
The building was vacated earlier this year when Discovery World moved to the new Discovery World at Pier Wisconsin building on the lakefront.
