Enviro-Safe Consulting LLC continues to thrive, providing manufacturers with sustainable business solutions.
Founded in 2002 by industry veteran Jeff Vilione, the Brookfield-based company provides environmental, safety and resource recovery services to manufacturers throughout the country.
Vilione left a previous partnership to start the company after recognizing growth in the sustainability market.
Working primarily with mid- to large-sized manufacturers, Enviro-Safe Consulting also offers training for clients in both the environmental and safety sides of the business.
“We are very well-rounded,” said Vilione. “Those sustainability programs can really assist any company not only with helping the bottom line but adding value.”
With more than $2 million in revenue in 2009, the company has had growth the last three years, despite the Great Recession.
“(With) manufacturers, it really depends on the market sector they are catering to. If you are in the unfortunate one, say automobile or financing, those markets have completely collapsed with financing, and I think we were fortunate enough to have a diversified customer base,” Vilione said. “Some of them (manufacturers) were able to weather the storm, so to speak, and therefore we did too.”
Enviro-Safe has eight employees, each of whom has more than 25 years of experience in the industry. Vilione attributes the success of his organization to the company’s versatility and its staff with complementary experience.
Vilione plans to grow the business in the manufacturing sector and continue to provide existing manufacturers other complementary sustainable services.
“We have been extremely fortunate,” he said. “The people that represent this company are very good and any company that is able to grow, especially in these difficult economic times you have to be doing something right and I keep pointing my finger back to the employees.”
