- Aurora Health Care has pledged to match contributions to the United Way of Greater Milwaukee & Waukesha County’s 2016 Community Campaign up to $200,000 to support programs that help prevent domestic violence and sexual assault in Wisconsin.
- The Woman’s Club of Wisconsin Foundation has donated $100,000 to the MKE Plays program to help pay for major improvements to the Enderis Park Playground. MKE Plays is a city-run program that uses private and public money to support improvements at 12 deteriorating Milwaukee parks.
- The American Express Foundation has pledged $20,000 to the YMCA of Metropolitan Milwaukee over the next two years. The Milwaukee Y will use the money to expand its partnership with Milwaukee County Parks. The Y currently offers day camps and swimming lessons at multiple county parks.
