Bergner named managing partner for Michael Best’s Milwaukee office

Danielle M. Bergner has been named managing partner for Milwaukee-based law firm Michael Best & Friedrich LLP’s Milwaukee office, the firm announced.

“Michael Best is proud to have Danielle lead as managing partner in Milwaukee,” said managing partner David A. Krutz. “Danielle is an accomplished attorney and strategic problem-solver widely recognized and admired for her solutions-oriented approach to complex work. She is also dedicated to making Milwaukee a better place for all of its residents.”

Bergner is a real estate attorney who focuses on real estate development, zoning and land use, tax credit, and public and private real estate financing.

She was a commercial real estate and finance attorney for Michael Best from 2011-13 and returned to the firm in 2015 as a partner and chair of the firm’s Real Estate Practice Group.

Bergner was a deputy city attorney for the city of Milwaukee from 2014-15.

“I look forward to continuing to serve clients in my new role, and to have the opportunity to lead at a firm that values community investment and continues to drive the practice of law forward,” Bergner said.

Bergner graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and earned her J.D. from Marquette University Law School.
