Cousin’s guarantees free subs for unsatisfied customers

Christine Specht, president and chief operating officer for Menomonee Fall’s based Cousin’s Subs has announced that the company has established a system-wide guarantee that says if a customer doesn’t like their Cousin Sub the company will refund their money.
“This guarantee is now in place in every Cousins Subs store in the country,” said Specht, who is also daughter to one of the Cousin Subs founders.. “If a guest isn’t happy with his or her sub, we will go above and beyond to make it better, including refunding their money. Our handcrafted subs, quality ingredients and freshly baked bread are the best in the industry, and it makes good business sense for our company to stand by our subs in a very public, very positive way.”
The guarantee is in place beginning this week, Specht said.
“Quality food has been a Cousins Subs hallmark since we opened our doors nearly 40 years ago,” she said.  “Now, to have the company president personally guarantee our subs sends a strong message to consumers, franchisees, and even our competition, that Cousins Subs remains deeply committed to ensuring every guest in every store has the best sub possible.”
Cousins has more than 150 stores throughout Wisconsin, Minnesota, Michigan, Illinois, North Dakota and Arizona.
“Our franchisees have embraced the guarantee wholeheartedly because it makes us a stronger business and a stronger community partner,” she said. “We think our guests will like it, too. Consumers today have more choices than ever before – the guarantee is really something that sets our stores and our subs apart.”
