GMF Hotel LLC plans to build a 119-room Courtyard by Marriott hotel on a vacant 4-acre lot northeast of South 5th Street and Layton Avenue in Milwaukee, near General Mitchell International Airport. The four-story building would have 67,500 square feet of space, and 132 surface parking spaces.. About 25 people would work at the hotel. The hotel’s amenities would include an indoor swimming pool, an exercise room, a 75-person meeting room and a business library.
The project will be reviewed by the City Plan Commission on Monday, Nov. 10.
