Chicago Tube & Iron Company plans to move its Wisconsin Division operations from 6030 N. 60th St., Milwaukee, to a new 117,000-square-foot distribution facility that will be built in the Fox Ridge Business Park located between Highway 41 and Highway 175 in Fond du Lac. The new facility will have 35 employees. The firm hired Oconomowoc-based MSI General Corp. to build the new facility in Fond du Lac. The project is expected to be complete in October. “We are excited about our relocation to Fond du Lac," said Donald R. McNeeley, president and chief operating officer for Chicago Tube & Iron. "This new facility will provide us room to grow our business within a state of the art facility centrally located to our growing customer base."

Founded in 1914, CT&I is one of the largest metals service centers in the United States, with operating divisions located throughout the Midwest including Milwaukee, Chicago, Indianapolis, St. Paul, Duluth, Quad Cities and Des Moines. The company also fabricates pressure parts for the electric utility industry at its production facilities in Chicago and in North Carolina.
