Cermak Fresh Market owners buy West Milwaukee store’s building

Sold by developer for $7.5 million

An affiliate of Chicago-based grocery store chain Cermak Fresh Market has purchased its West Milwaukee store building for $7.5 million, according to state records.

The 60,000-square-foot building at 1541 Miller Park Way, located next to a Target store, was sold by an affiliate of Milwaukee-based Endeavor Corp. Inc., which developed the building in 2012.

The building was purchased by 1541 MPW LLC. Its registered agent is Mike Bousis, whose father, Jimmy, co-founded Cermak Fresh Market.

The property has an assessed value of $6.56 million, according to Milwaukee County records.

Cermak has 14 stores in two Chicago area and two in the Milwaukee area, including the West Milwaukee store and a store at 1236 S. Barclay in Walker’s Point.
