CCC and Carroll University publish holiday book

Learn more about:

The Christmas Clearing Council of Waukesha County (CCC) will celebrate 60 years of Christmas giving this year by publishing a commemorative book, The Joy of Sharing. The book features CCC history, heartwarming stories and the favorite holiday recipes of its supporters.

CCC, which coordinates giving during the Christmas season to families in need, produced the book with the help of students from Carroll University and Waukesha County Technical College (WCTC). The book was designed by Emilee Richter, graphic design major, as an intern under the guidance of Professor Daniel Becker, head of the graphic design program at Carroll.

Jessica Harvey, a communication major at Carroll, helped with the book content and production.

Students in Carroll University’s news writing and reporting class conducted interviews with a variety of people who had memories to share about CCC experiences.

Also included in the book are thank you letters from children and families that have received gifts, a comprehensive history of CCC and favorite holiday recipes from people actively involved with the organization.

The Joy of Sharing will be available for $20 beginning October 25, at the following locations :
