Singshinsuk has 23 years of experience providing auditing, accounting, and consulting services to a variety of federal, not-for-profit and commercial entities. She is a former owner of her own firm and previously worked for Ernst and Young LLP.

Safe Babies Healthy Families


Nancy Major, executive director of Safe Babies Healthy Families, has been honored with a Waukesha "Key to the City" in recognition of her leadership and community service efforts. Major was one of a dozen business, government and nonprofit leaders awarded by Mayor Jeff Scrima at a common council meeting in December. Major has been the head of Safe Babies Healthy Families, formerly named the Pregnancy Support Connection, since 2008 and has influenced the growth of its staff and outreach services. She also helped facilitate a 2012 merger of the Pregnancy Support Connection and Healthy Families of Waukesha into the organization existing today. Safe Babies Healthy Families offers intervention, support and education services to parents struggling with finances, health and social resources to promote more stable living environments.
