Everest College announced last week that it will close its downtown Milwaukee campus, located in the 2-story, 67,500-square-foot building northwest of North 6th Street and West McKinley Avenue.

Home sales in the four county metro Milwaukee area were up 21 percent in August, compared to August of 2011, according to the latest date from the Greater Milwaukee Association of Realtors (GMAR).

DNR to meet with parks group on Downtown Transit Center site redevelopment

Staff with the state Department of Natural Resources will meet today with representatives of parks advocacy group Preserve Our Parks, including a surveyor hired by the group, to review claims by the group that most of the Downtown Transit Center site was originally in the Lake Michigan lake bed.
