Spectrum Brands Holdings Inc. today opened its new world headquarters in Middleton, a suburb of Madison.

Wisconsin home sales were very strong in September, continuing the robust pace that has characterized the year according to the most recent housing report from the Wisconsin Realtors Association (WRA).

Grand Rapids, Mich.-based Meijer Inc. recently purchased a 40-acre site near Sussex, for $5.3million, where it plans to build a 192,000-square-foot store and a gas station.

Tralee, Ireland-based Kerry Group plc will expand its plant in the Village of Jackson in Washington County, Economic Development Washington County (EDWC) announced.

Madison-based Sara Investment Real Estate LLC purchased the three-story, 53,626-square-foot Squires III Office Center building at N19 W24075 Riverwood Drive, Pewaukee, from Brookfield-based Palmisano Companies Ltd. for $4.4 million, according to state records.

John and Anne Nehring, the owners of Nehring's Sendik's in Shorewood, G. Groppi Food Market in Milwaukee's Bay View neighborhood, Nehring's Family Market at the Milwaukee Public Market and V. Richard's in Brookfield, have taken over the Sendik's grocery store at 2643 N. Downer Ave. on Milwaukee's East Side.

Eden Prairie, Minn.-based New Perspective Senior Living announced that it plans to build a senior living community in Glendale.
The development will be built in Estabrook Corporate Park next to the Orthopedic Hospital of Wisconsin (475 W. River Woods Pkwy) and the River Woods Urgent Care Center. The site provides views of the Milwaukee River and Estabrook Park.

In its third quarter industrial market update, Pewaukee-based real estate brokerage Judson & Associates says there are still “several large users circulating in the (Kenosha County) market.”

The city of Milwaukee plans to resurface and add a median to Milwaukee Street, between East St. Paul Avenue and East Menomonee Street in the Historic Third Ward.
