Eisner Museum building will become Creative Incubator

Lindsey Bovinet, chairman of Interior Systems Inc. (ISI), plans to acquire the vacant former Eisner American Museum of Advertising and Design building in Milwaukee's Historic Third Ward.

O’Reilly Automotive Stores Inc. plans to open an auto parts store in the 7,453-square-foot former Burger King building at 10110 W. Silver Spring Dr., Milwaukee. The store will have 8 employees.

Software company to occupy Menomonee Valley building

John Shannon, who developed Quick Cable Corp. in Franksville, plans to purchase a 122-year-old, 10,900-square-foot building at 2045 W. St. Paul Ave., in Milwaukee's Menomonee Valley. He plans to spend $300,000 to restore the building, which has been vacant for more than two years, and most recently was occupied by an antique store.

Radisson owner fires back as Menomonee Falls files for foreclosure

On the same day the Village of Menomonee Falls filed a foreclosure suit against the Radisson Hotel, principal owner James Heyden fired back with allegations of his own against the village.

Logistics company purchases Milwaukee industrial building

Mequon logistics company Bridge Holdings LLC has purchased a 152,800-square-foot industrial building at 5700 W. Bender Court in Milwaukee for $3.4 million.

Schlitz Park adds wellness amenities

Schlitz Park will add a one-mile outdoor vita course for tenants and the public. The course is scheduled for construction in 2013.

Sale of low priced homes dips in metro area

The share of homes sold for under $100,000 in the four-county metro Milwaukee area dropped 19 percent in May, according to the Greater Milwaukee Association of Realtors (GMAR).

State home sales up 19 percent in May

Home sales in Wisconsin increased 18.9 percent in May, compared to May of 2011, according to the Wisconsin Realtors Association. In southeastern Wisconsin, home sales were up 21 percent.

Wauwatosa Walmart Neighborhood Market opens today

A new 38,000-square-foot Walmart Neighborhood Market store opens today at 3850 N. 124th St., Wauwatosa. A grand opening celebration was held this morning.

County Board committee delays decision on Park East project

The Milwaukee County Board's Committee on Economic and Community Development this week voted to delay a vote on a 181-unit apartment development proposed for the Park East corridor because of a labor dispute with a new partner for the project.
