The U.S. Department of Agriculture plans to award up to $200 million in competitive grants that will fund new employment and training programs intended to help low-income individuals and families find jobs and increase their earnings. An affiliate of New York-based Garrison Investment Group LP, a middle market credit and asset based investor, recently purchased the 112-room TownPlace Suites hotel in Brookfield for $9.6 million, according to state records.
