A unified approach to regional transportation, including transit

Over the last several decades, the economic vitality and growth of Milwaukee and southeastern Wisconsin have fared poorly to other metropolitan regions in the country, with rankings in comparative studies generally placing our region in the lower third of performance. Strong new growth efforts of the Water Council, the Midwest Energy Research Consortium, the Regional Health Center and stimulating entrepreneurism are helping matters. Hopefully the continued focus on specialty manufacturing, exporting and distribution will pay off as well.

Perhaps the most powerful principle Napoleon Hill wrote about, and certainly the most enduring, is the 9th step towards riches: Power of the Master Mind. The idea of a Master Mind group was created, put forth, and expounded upon by Napoleon Hill in his two classic books, Think and Grow Rich, written in 1937, and “How to Sell Your Way Through Life," written in 1938.

Volunteers needed to staff USA Triathlon

With approximately 6,500 athletes set to compete in the 2015 USA Triathlon Age Group National Championships this August, VISIT Milwaukee is calling for volunteers to cover 400 of 800 event shifts.

Bublr Bikes to add 36 more stations by mid-2016

Milwaukee Art Museum will make offer to buy O’Donnell Park

Milwaukee Art Museum director Dan Keegan on Tuesday told members of the Milwaukee County Board’s Parks, Energy and Environment Committee that the museum plans to submit an offer to purchase the O’Donnell Park parking structure and park, located just west of the museum.
