Behrens is new president of Johnson Insurance Services
Mark Behrens
has been named president of Johnson Insurance Services.
Johnson Financial Group chief executive officer Thomas Bolger said, “Johnson Insurance is a key line of business for us and one that makes us uniquely positioned to exceed customer expectations beyond traditional financial services offerings. Behrens has more than 26 years of experience with Johnson Financial Group in a variety of responsibilities, including chief operating officer of Johnson Insurance Services from 2006 through 2010.
A resident of Union Grove, Behrens is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
With offices in Kenosha, Racine, Milwaukee, Green Bay, Appleton, Madison, Janesville, and Eau Claire, Wisconsin, and Arizona, the agency employs more than 180 people.
Johnson Insurance Services is one of the largest privately held independent agencies in the state.

Smarelli is new president of national transit association
The Taxicab, Limousine & Paratransit Association (TLPA) announced it has named Mary Smarelli, owner of one of Wisconsin’s largest passenger transportation companies, as its new president.
marelli owns Transit Express in Milwaukee, a company with a fleet of 150 vehicles including paratransit vans, buses, trolleys, limousines, executive cars and several riverboats. Since starting her company with just two wheelchair accessible vans more than 30 years ago, her company has risen to become one of the most respected leaders in the for-hire transportation industry.
Smarelli was voted into office at the TLPA’s 93rd annual Convention & Trade Show held Oct. 26-30 in San Francisco.
“The TLPA and its membership have really helped me grow my business over these many years, and this is a great honor to give back to it and to serve as its president,” Smarelli said. “The TLPA represents the absolute best of our industry through our collective legislative voice, our professional training, our focus on customer service and safety, our community involvement, and our charitable giving.”
Established in 1917, the (TLPA) is a nonprofit trade association of and for the private passenger transportation industry.

Fiserv promotes Nash to president of Investment Services
Fiserv Inc., a Brookfield-based provider of financial services technology solutions, announced today that Cheryl Nash has been named president of its Investment Services division.
With 28 years of service with Investment Services at Fiserv, Nash brings a track record of industry leadership, technology expertise and commitment to serving clients to the new role. She has managed strategic functions in the organization and was instrumental in the development of multiple strategy portfolios, more commonly known today as unified managed accounts (UMAs).
"Cheryl has been the consummate catalyst for growth in the managed accounts solutions and wealth management industry," said Mike Gianoni, group president, Financial Institutions Group, Fiserv. Nash played significant roles in the acquisitions of Upstream Technologies and AdviceAmerica, providing Fiserv clients with an integrated model management environment and financial advice and planning technology, respectively.
