Wednesday, June 8  SUMMIT, the Greater Brookfield Chamber of Commerce’s young professional’s group, will host a sales panel discussion at the University of Phoenix, 20075 Watertower Blvd., in Brookfield, from 5:30 to 7 pm.  Panel members, Trevor Eccleston, regional sales manager for Marcus Theatres; Deeatra Kajfosz president of Nalani Services, Inc.; Maria Nicholas-Groves, financial representative at Cornerstone Financial Group – Northwestern Mutual; and Tom Squier, realtor at Coldwell Banker will discuss their overall sales process and answer questions about cold calling, asking for the sale and overcoming objections.  The event is open to young professionals ages 21 to 35. Admission to the event is $10 for Chamber and SUMMIT members and $20 for non-members. Advance registration with payment is required by Monday, June 6. Friday, June 10 SummerStage at Lapham Peak will kick off its summer concert season on with its special “Raise the Roof” concert fundraiser at 7:30 p.m. The concert will feature Four Guys in Dinner Jackets, a 1950s and 1960s four-part harmony ensemble. Monday, June 13 Kolb+Co., will host a seminar entitled: “It’s a Small World: Doing Business with our European Neighbors,” at the Milwaukee Athletic club from 4 to 6 p.m. Dale Elliott, former chief executive officer of Snap-on will be the key note speaker for the event. Tuesday, June, 14 The Leadership Center at Cardinal Stritch University will host it’s third speaker, Dr. Ian O. Friday, June 17 The Independent Business Association of Wisconsin will host a breakfast meeting from 7 to 9 a.m. at the Wisconsin Club, 900 W. Wisconsin Ave. The guest speaker will be Kevin Shafer, executive director of the Milwaukee Metropolitan Sewerage District. The cost to attend is $30 for IBA members, $40 for non-members.
