BizTimes Morning Headlines: Nonprofit to develop athletic complex

A Mosinee nonprofit dedicated to promoting sports activities in the city is in the process of raising money for the biggest project in its seven-year history.

 

The Mosinee Community Athletic Association plans to break ground next summer on what they’ve named the Mosinee Athletic Complex — an area in the village dedicated to athletics that will feature nine baseball/softball fields and two green  space fields.

The first phase of the project will cost  about $920,000 and include one varsity baseball and one varsity softball field and two football/soccer fields, complete with parking.
