Layton Boulevard West Neighbors gave area residents a chance to “tour the world” with its second annual Silver City International Food and Art Walk, held Saturday, Sept. 7, in Milwaukee’s Silver City District.
The cultural event brought ethnic cuisine from neighborhood restaurants to West National Avenue along with art exhibits, music and dance performances, and soccer tournaments. The event opened with a ribbon cutting at the Arlington Heights Park Bandshell and an unveiling of a mural to be displayed at Three Bridges Park in the Menomonee Valley.
