The Milwaukee Press Club held its first Behind the Headlines event on Thursday, December 1. The event focused on the ‘new’ Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources and featured Cathy Stepp, Wisconsin DNR Secretary among other panelists including: Toni Herkert, policy director for Wisconsin Lakes; George Meyer, executive director of the Wisconsin Wildlife Federation and a former WDNR secretary; and Scott Manley, director of energy and environmental policy for Wisconsin Manufacturers and Commerce.
