Davis & Kuelthau S.C.

The law firm of Milwaukee-based Davis & Kuelthau was recently honored as a merit winner in the Sixth Annual Service Industry Advertising Awards (SIAA) for its website homepage, designed in collaboration with Milwaukee-based Versant Solutions. More than 1,200 submissions were received from throughout the United States and a national panel of judges rated entries in 12 groups and 27 categories. Davis & Kuelthau was listed in the website/homepage category under the Professional Services Group. The firm was the only law firm from the state of Wisconsin to be recognized. Other organizations in Wisconsin that received awards include Prevea Health, Great Wolf Resorts, and Ministry Healthcare. SIAA is the only advertising awards to specifically recognize the achievements of the service industry.


The Management Association

The Management Association (MRA), Waukesha, recently announced that it has been selected to provide association management services for a national group representing employer associations. Employer associations collectively represent 70,000 employers and 6 million employees, and are dedicated to helping businesses thrive by enhancing workplace skills, engagement, innovation, and productivity. Several of the group’s members were incorporated more than 100 years ago. The group will adopt a new name and governance structure during an upcoming meeting in Texas. MRA will provide communications, conference planning, membership and other services to the new association. MRA also currently provides association management services to the Association for High Technology Distribution, an international group of nearly 200 members.


ProHealth Care

ProHealth Care, Waukesha, recently announced the expansion of the ProHealth Works program to include both occupational health and wellness services offered to the business community. All ProHealth Care and former Medical Associates services dedicated to corporate health, occupational health and employer wellness have joined together and now share the ProHealth Works name. The program works as a partner with area businesses for a healthy workplace through a full range of services including acute injury management, cost-effective health screenings and interventions, risk reduction, pre-placement testing, substance abuse testing, education and wellness programs.

The benefits of the combined program include greater convenience with six ProHealth Works sites in Waukesha, Washington and Jefferson counties. The program also offers a greater continuity of care with seamless access to all necessary wellness services, occupational health programming and health care services coordinated by the ProHealth Works staff. ProHealth Works sites include locations in Menomonee Falls, Waukesha, Oconomowoc, Germantown, Sussex, and Mukwonago.

Froedtert and Aurora St. Luke’s

AARP The Magazine has listed Froedtert Hospital, Wauwatosa, and Aurora St. Luke’s Medical Center in Milwaukee among the country’s top 125 hospitals. According to the magazine, 89 percent of doctors rated Froedtert very good or excellent. The magazine ranked hospitals in the 53 largest geographic areas in the country. The criteria used to build the listing are based on a variety of patient safety numbers, physician recommendations and statistics on whether proper tests and procedures were followed for cases. In total, these numbers were used to identify the best 125 hospitals in the United States. The list was compiled by Consumers Checkbook, a nonprofit organization.
