What’s new at your company?

“We recently introduced a new website, will be offering valuable business improvement workshops on new topics each month, and are emphasizing our merger and acquisition advisory services. We’re also expanding our internal mentoring program to help our employees achieve their personal goals.”

Do you plan to hire any additional staff or make any significant capital investments in your company in the next year?

“Yes. We look forward to solid growth as our clients continue their recovery from the recession. In addition, we are actively looking for other CPA firms and professionals who share our client service beliefs to

join Schenck.”

What will be your company’s main challenges in the next year?

“We must continue to help our clients be successful and achieve their goals, earning their appreciation and recognition as their advisor of choice every day in a difficult business environment.”

What’s the hottest trend in your industry?

“Our industry continues to strive to deploy strategies to help our clients cope with the impact the economy has had on their businesses. In addition, consolidation, a focus on business development, implementation of CRM systems and the search for new service niches are anticipated for the upcoming year. The CPA industry is also analyzing its role in sustainability initiatives and driving conformity of international accounting standards.”

“Do what is right for our clients, our employees and our communities.”

“Leaders who inspire others to take appropriate action.”

What was the best advice you ever received?

“The success of a leader is measured by the success of their team.”

What’s the funniest thing that ever happened to you in your career?

“There have been many hilarious experiences in my career. Singling out one is impossible and I am sure the next ‘funniest’ is about to happen.”

What do you like to do in your free time?

“I enjoy watching many different sports and especially enjoy enduring the emotional highs and lows the Packers, Brewers, Bucks, Badgers and Golden Eagles put me through.”
