Bank Mutual has hired Dan Mekemson as senior vice president and director of mortgage lending. He will work out of the corporate headquarters at 4949 W. Brown Deer Road in Milwaukee.
Mekemson will coordinate all of the bank’s mortgage banking functions using his 41 years of experience in banking and mortgage leadership.
He most recently served as president of Mekemson Consulting Services LLC, where he provided advisory services to banks, savings institutions and mortgage companies. Mekemson has also served as senior vice president of mortgage banking at Johnson Bank and senior vice president of residential lending at Firstar Home Mortgage.

Mekemson earned a bachelor’s in economics from Quincy University in Illinois.
