Badger Mutual Insurance promotes Kane to president

David Kane has been named the new president of Milwaukee-based Badger Mutual Insurance Company.

Kane, of Milwaukee, has been with Badger Mutual Insurance since 1984, beginning as a property adjuster. He was promoted to various positions within the company including manager of property claims, underwriter, vice president of personal lines, executive vice president of insurance operations and in April 2012 was elected to the board of directors.

“With almost 30 years of experience with Badger Mutual Insurance, we couldn’t have chosen a more dedicated and knowledgeable individual to lead the company forward,” said Steve Klima, audit committee chairman and board director for Badger Mutual Insurance. “Kane is committed to providing a stable foundation for the company to continue its growth in the coming years.”

Former president Roy Bubeck, remains the chief executive officer and a member of the board.

Badger Mutual Insurance has been headquartered in Milwaukee for more than 125 years.
