Amerequip Corp. announces leadership changes

Amerequip Corp., a Mequon-headquartered designer and manufacturer of attachments for utility tractors, skid/steer loaders, tractors and lawn and garden equipment, has promoted Michael Festge to chairman and chief executive officer.

Michael Vander Zanden has been promoted to be the company’s president and chief operating officer. Vander Zanden has become a member of the company’s board of directors, joining Festge and Charles Hoke.

Festge has worked with Amerequip since 1985 and was named executive vice president in 1994 and president in 1998. He helped create the company’s employee stock ownership program.

Vander Zanden has worked with Amerequip since 1993 and has worked in positions such as director of quality assurance, plant operations manager, vice president of operations and most recently executive vice president.

Amerequip also has manufacturing facilities in New Holstein and Kiel, WI. Some of its products are sold directly through dealers, while others are included on vehicles made by OEMs.
