Menomonee Falls-based Actuant Corp. has acquired Sugar Land, Texas-based Hayes Industries Ltd. for about $31 million.
Hayes makes concrete pre- and post-tensioning products, and last year had $25 million in sales.
Actuant, a global diversified industrial company, expects it will complement the industrial segment’s Precision Sure-Lock business. Hayes makes patented encapsulated anchor systems and wedges that are used in residential, commercial and public works concrete construction and ground stabilization, as well as customized extruded cables for the energy and chemical markets.
