Diana Braun recently moved her company’s headquarters from Richmond, Ill., to Sharon, Wis., at 200 Old Factory Road in Walworth County. Braun says the custom-designed new space will help the company accommodate lean manufacturing and quality control. She cites the following quote as a guiding business principle: “After all has been said and done … What HAS been said and what HAS been done?”

“We know our customers have a choice as to who they will work with to support their business. As we strive to continue to earn the business entrusted to us, we keep that quote and our core business values at the center of our actions. Those values are accountability, teamwork, inclusion, integrity, initiative and stewardship.

Our business has experienced impressive growth over the last several years. Our former plant had reached capacity, and I am excited about the new opportunities that our move to Sharon, Wis., brings. We are committed to the principles of lean manufacturing, and this facility suits our operation well. We have more than doubled our manufacturing and warehousing capabilities. Onsite rail access will accommodate the movement of inbound materials and outbound finished product and commodity chemical. Improved space in our lab has enhanced efficiency toward research and discovery. Sales and marketing have more flexibly to handle our diverse customer base.

Our employees are excited as well. The facility is designed to increase productivity and decrease lead times. We have added a workout room, locker rooms, expanded cafeteria and casual sitting areas for employee breaks – all designed with the employee in mind.

The community of Sharon is excited too. We have been warmly welcomed and, although I am a diehard Chicago Bears fan, I don’t think they mind terribly much having a few Bears fans in Packer Country.”
