Zywave acquires FutureOffice Network

Organizations:

Wauwatosa-based insurance software solutions firm Zywave Inc. has acquired FutureOffice Network and the assets of its parent company, Elm Grove-based Davidson Marketing Group.

“Zywave is excited to welcome more than 40 agencies into our partner network,” said David O’Brien, chief executive officer of Zywave. “We view this growth as an opportunity to help more brokers win business using our tools.”

FON also provides technology solutions for insurance brokers. Craig Davidson, who founded DMG and the FutureOffice Network in 2004, will exit the business to spend more time on teaching business at University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and write his monthly column for Employee Benefit Adviser magazine.

“Selling the FON tools to Zywave felt right to me, and with the inspired direction at Zywave, it will be a good home for our brokers and their employer clients,” Davidson said.

The terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

In November, Zywave Inc. split off from its financial planning software solutions division. That Wauwatosa company is now known as Advicent Solutions.
