Milwaukee-based Ebenezer Child Care Centers will help parents learn how to rebalance their schedules and recharge their lives at its annual Working Parents’ Luncheon, scheduled for Thursday, April 30, at the Italian Community Center.
This year’s event will feature a presentation by motivational speaker Christi Andringa, whose remarks will follow the theme of finding happiness. Titled “The Happiness Talk: How to Reach your Full Potential as a Working Parent,” her presentation will focus on how happiness is discovered when people achieve their personal potential – through work friendships, family or wellness. Andringa will also discuss how happy people constantly seek to do things that give them joy and will offer attendees ideas on how to maximize their happiness.
The event will also feature a raffle and networking, beginning at 11:30 a.m., with the luncheon beginning at noon. Cost is $42, and attendees must register by Monday, April 20. Corporate tables may also be secured.
