Willis North America, a unit of London-based Willis Group Holdings, a global insurance broker, announced today that it plans to move its Milwaukee area office from 2323 N. Mayfair Road in Wauwatosa, to a 26,000-square-foot office space at 400 N. Executive Dr. in Brookfield. The new office will open on Oct. 29.
The company said the move, “is part of Willis’ strategy to continue to elevate its presence in the state and drive growth in this key market.” Willis’ only other Wisconsin office is in Appleton.
The company signed an eight-year lease with CRP Commercial Services for the Brookfield office space.
Willis has about 110 employees in its Milwaukee office.
The Willis announcement was made as state and local officials held a ribbon cutting ceremony this morning to celebrate the “substantial completion” of a reconstruction project for Bluemound Road. The new segment of Bluemound Road was built between Moorland and Barker roads in Brookfield. Since the project began, about 20 new businesses have located in the Bluemound corridor.
