What has fueled your company’s growth?

A surge in manufacturing jobs along with a growing and diversified customer base of accounts and repeat business from long term customers lead to a great sales increase over last years record results.

What is the biggest obstacle to your company’s growth?

Certainly, the shortage of skilled workers will be a growing problem in the future. We have done well but it would be even better if we had a greater supply of skilled workers

Do you plan any changes in your company in the upcoming months?

Recruiting industry veterans is always on our agenda. There is always a spot for proven performers. The opportunities are endless.

Who are the business people, locally or nationally, whom you admire? And what traits do those people exhibit that make you admire them?

On a local level, I admire Dean Gunderson the president of Helsan Development Corp. He is a smart businessperson and entrepreneur who has started several successful companies and in spite of his busy schedule he maintains the proper balance between family and business.

What is the outlook for the business conditions of your industry over the next several months?

Very good. We are involved in several long term projects with key accounts and due to the economy the contract to direct business is strong. We are also seeing a growth in the direct hire business.

What is your company’s key strategy for rising out of the recession?

WFA is blessed with a staff of industry veterans who are proven performers. Avoiding layoffs and keeping our staff has paid dividends. We will add to our staff again this year to make it even better.
