WBA names new board members

The Wisconsin Bankers Association has named Thomas Pamperin, president and CEO of Premier Community Bank in Marion, as its new board chair for 2013-2014.

Pamperin joined Premier in 1998. He previously worked for Allied Health of Wisconsin and Wipfli in Wausau and St. Francis Bank and KPMG Peat Marwick in the Milwaukee area. Pamperin is a certified public accountant with a bachelor’s from University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh and a master’s from University of Wisconsin-Madison.

WBA also named as officers Robert Cera, president and CEO of Baylake Bank in Sturgeon Bay, Peter Prickett, president and CEO of The First National Bank in Neenah and Daniel Riebe, president of Peoples Bank of Wisconsin in Eau Claire.

New board members are John Drace, president and CEO of Jackson County Bank in Black River Falls, Joe Fazio, chairman, CEO and founder of Commerce State Bank in West Bend, Daniel Frazier, president of Madison Market for U.S. Bank, Charles Schmalz, president and CEO of East Wisconsin Savings Bank in Kaukana. Paul Adamski, president and CEO of The Pineries Bank in Stevens Point, was re-elected.

Cynthia Edrman, president and CEO of First Bank in Tomah, Mark Forsythe, president and CEO of Peoples State Bank in Prairie du Chien, Peter Knitt, president of Peoples State Bank in Wausau, Jay McKenna, president and CEO of North Shore Bank in Brookfield, Mark Meloy, president and CEO of First Business Bank in Madison, Terry Taylor, president of Oak Bank in Fitchburg and Jeffrey Whitrock, president and CEO of Pioneer Bank in Auburndale will continue their terms on the board.

The WBA is Wisconsin’s largest financial industry trade association and represents almost 270 commercial banks and savings institutions across the state.
