During the month of April, WaterStone Bank held an online voting contest to celebrate 90 years of service to the community. The contest encouraged the community choose which local nonprofits or schools should receive a portion of the Bank’s special $90,000 anniversary donation. Five organizations have been selected.
Sophia’s Heart Foundation, will receive the top donation of $30,000 and St. Roman Parish School, Wisconsin Lutheran High School, Greendale High School Marching Band, and German Immersion Foundation will each receive $15,000.
“As good corporate citizens, it is our responsibility to better our communities in any way that we are able,”said Doug Gordon, president and chief executive officer of WaterStone Bank. “It’s an honor to celebrate our 90th Anniversary by giving back.”
