The Pfister Hotel in downtown Milwaukee needs your help to choose its next artist in residence. Finalist’s for the next Pfister artist in residence have work displayed at Gallerie M, located inside the InterContinental Milwaukee. Voters are encouraged to visit the gallery to help the Pfister select its next artist in residence.
This will be the third artist selected to create original artwork in the Pfister’s artist-in-residence studio, lead tours and serve as ambassador for the hotel’s artistic history. Reginald Baylor was the first artist selected to serve in that position and artist Katie Musolff was selected as the artist in residence for 2010.
The public vote is a significant source of several criterion used to select the final artist, the winner will be announced in mid-February.
