UnitedHealthcare is hosting a series of events to explain the benefits of its health coverage plans that are currently being offered on the 2015 Wisconsin Health Insurance Marketplace.
Free and open to the public, the events are scheduled for Saturday from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m., Tuesday from 3 p.m. – 7 p.m. and Saturday, Dec. 13 from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. They take place at the Joseph J. Zilber School of Public Health, 1240 N. 10th St. in Milwaukee.
Attendees, who can sign up for coverage at the events, will find out if their doctor is in network and will learn if they qualify for financial assistance through the federal government to help pay for their health plan.
Individuals are advised to sign up by Monday, Dec. 15 to ensure coverage begins on Jan. 1.
