U.S. Bank will host the holiday fireworks display on the Milwaukee lakefront tonight at 9:30 p.m. The fireworks will be launched from three barges on the lake, near Veterans Park.
The show includes 10,000 pounds of fireworks and more than eight miles of wire that will ignite more than 20,000 shells.
“This year’s July 3 fireworks will be nothing short of magnificent,” said Bill Bertha, U.S. Bank Wisconsin president. “U.S. Bank is honored to sponsor this amazing show, which is known for being the biggest and the best in the Midwest. It’s a wonderful time for families, friends and neighbors to enjoy time together celebrating our nation’s birthday at this free event. Nearly one million people attend the U.S. Bank Fireworks along the lakefront. The local economy benefits too, as many of the spectators stay in Milwaukee over the holiday and enjoy spending time in our city.”
