Turnbull named new executive director of Admission Possible

Admission Possible Milwaukee has named Edie Turnbull executive director of the college access nonprofit. Turnbull will guide and oversee all aspects of the organization, as well as support a team of 22 AmeriCorps members and four full-time staff.
“We are thrilled to welcome Edie to the Admission Possible team,” said Jim McCorkell, Admission Possible founder and CEO. “Edie’s leadership skills and experience in nonprofit development and communications will make her an incredible asset to our team.”
Turnbull comes to Admission Possible from Milwaukee-based SHARP Literacy, where she served as the director of fund development, bringing with her a wide range of leadership experiences. Before joining SHARP Literacy, she served as vice president of public affairs, marketing & communication at Wisconsin Lutheran College.
 “Admission Possible has a reputation for achieving results for students in the Milwaukee community,” Turnbull said. “I am excited to be part of a team that is dedicated to students and to creating positive change. It’s an honor to support the growth of our students and our team as we work to make a difference in Milwaukee and across the nation.”
