Tradeshow contractor to move from Hartford to Germantown

Wisconsin Expo Inc., a full-service tradeshow contractor, will move from a 15,000-square-foot building in Hartford to a 55,000-square-foot building in Germantown.

The company recently purchased the Germantown building at N113 W18750 Carnegie Dr. from Harris Bank for $300,000. The deal was brokered by James Young and David Barry of Cassidy Turley Barry.

The company needed more space and wanted to be located closer to Milwaukee and closer to a freeway, said D.J. Cartledge, director of business development.

“We were definitely bursting at the seams,” he said. “We’ve been leasing additional space around the Hartford area.”

The building was originally built as a tennis club and was most recently occupied by a paintball operation, which went out of businesses more than a year ago.

The building is in rough shape and needs significant improvement, Young said. The company is still evaluating what improvements need to be made, Cartledge said.

“It’s pretty much going to be a complete remodeling of the interior,” he said.

Cassidy Turley Barry is now marketing Wisconsin Expo’s existing 15,000-square-foot facility at 1076 Western Dr. in Hartford.
