Arvid “Dick” Tillmar will leave his role as associate at Brookfield-based Diversified Insurance Services at the end of January. Tilmar has formed his own company, Tillmar Connect LLC, that will provide consulting services to a variety of clients in the areas of health and wellness.

According to Bob Sowinski, president of Diversified Insurance, Tillmar has also been contacted by several organizations to represent them on an exclusive basis for services to health systems.

“Although Dick will technically no longer be a Diversified employee, he will remain a member of the Diversified family and will continue to keep his office here in Brookfield as his home base,” Sowinski said. “(I) thank Dick for all of his past efforts, and (wish) him nothing but success in his new venture.”

Tillmar has done business in southeastern Wisconsin for almost two decades and has gathered a deep Rolodex of contacts who include CEOs, managers and directors of public and closely held companies both large and small. He also has connections with leaders in the nonprofit, government, academic, political and health care sectors.

“I can usually pinpoint the person you need to fit your purposes- and nail down the details to make the introduction myself within an hour,” Tillmar said. “But first, I will help you to be sure you’re prepared to make a great first impression and quickly demonstrate you’re a perfect fit.”
