A topping off ceremony was held last week for The Moderne, a 30-story residential building under construction in downtown Milwaukee. A topping off ceremony signifies that the highest point of the structure has been achieved.
The building is under construction at the southwest corner of Old World Third Street and West Juneau Avenue. The building will have 203 apartments and 14 condominiums.
The Moderne is ahead of schuled and is now expected to be complete in September.
J.H. Findorff & Son Inc. is the construction management firm for the project. The building was designed by Rinka Chung Architecture. The lead developer for the project is Rick Barrett.
The Moderne is now the tallest structure in downtown Milwaukee west of the Milwaukee River.
