The Angelus Corp., a provider of products and services to the aerospace and defense industries, will move its headquarters from Sussex to the City of Pewaukee.

Nick Fuchs, planner and community development director for the city, confirmed the company is the planned occupant of a “high-tech industrial” headquarters facility proposed in November by Briohn Building Corp.

Representatives of Angelus did not immediately respond to requests for comment.

The company has two divisions. PIC Wire & Cable specializes in aircraft cable, connectors and cable assemblies while CertifyNation offers engineering, certification and kitting.

In October, Briohn submitted plans to the city for a 40,600-square-foot building at W220 N1051 Springdale Road for a then unnamed client.

The builder said the company would have 75 employees on a single shift and was looking for a high-profile site with great visibility for a new headquarters.

“Our client currently employs and plans on adding engineers and technicians and wants the new facility to help attract and retain highly skilled workforce,” Briohn’s submission said. ”The geographic central location of the Springdale site is also important to meeting this end.”

The current Angelus facility is located about 5.5 miles away near the intersection of Pewaukee and Lisbon roads.
