Survey finds widespread business optimism for 2015

Organizations:

Newtek Business Services Corp., with a portfolio of more than 100,000 business accounts, announced today the findings of its Small Business Authority Market Sentiment Survey, indicating the vast majority of small business owners across the nation are more optimistic than pessimistic about the U.S. economy in 2015.

The survey of more than 1,100 respondents found that 77 percent of business owners are more optimistic than pessimistic regarding the economy going into 2015.

Barry Sloane, chairman, president and chief executive officer of the Newtek Small Business Authority, said, “Business owners are far more optimistic about the 2015 economic environment than they were in 2014. A robust stock market, low interest rate environment and the U.S. economy demonstrating superiority over all other countries is what is driving the significant optimistic shift amongst our independent business owners.”
