Participants interested in repelling down the building are asked to raise a minimum of $1,500 in donations for Special Olympics. With help from professional staff, participants will descend 17 stories down the side of the Hilton Milwaukee City Center.
Special Olympics Wisconsin provides persons with cognitive disabilities year-round sports training and competition and serves nearly 10,000 athletes in 189 communities across Wisconsin.
“The Special Olympics staff is looking forward to sharing our excitement for this event with the city of Milwaukee,” Alldridge said. “We invite everyone to come down to The City Center to support the ‘edgers’ and take part in the day’s festivities.”
