Eden Prairie, Minn.-based New Perspective Senior Living announced that it plans to build a senior living community in Glendale. The development will be built in Estabrook Corporate Park next to the Orthopedic Hospital of Wisconsin (475 W. River Woods Pkwy) and the River Woods Urgent Care Center. The site provides views of the Milwaukee River and Estabrook Park.
The senior living community will be called Lighthouse of Glendale and it will offer residents independent living, assisted living, memory care and short-term stay options.
The facility will be managed by New Perspecitve Senior Living and will be built by its affiliate RNT Development LLC.
Glendale Mayor Jay Hintze is helping to facilitate the project in his current capacity as managing director of Sperry Van Ness|The Hintze Group.
“After visiting other Lighthouse communities and experiencing their exciting and effective approach to senior living, I was thrilled when asked to help bring the Lighthouse of Glendale to life,” he said.
Amenities in the facility will include: a warm water therapy pool, a health and wellness center with a fitness gym and rehabilitation services, a dance hall, craft centers, a library and a variety of dining options including a bistro, restaurant-style dining room and a pub.
