Rubin to head emergency department at Froedtert

Froedtert & the Medical College of Wisconsin has promoted Dr. Jonathan Rubin to clinical director of its emergency department, according to an announcement the health care provider made on Tuesday.

 
Rubin is a professor of emergency medicine at the Medical College of Wisconsin and, prior to his promotion, was associate clinical director of the emergency department.
 
In his new leadership capacity, Rubin will oversee clinical operations as well as clinical and service quality. He will also oversee patient care outcomes, provider performance and access to care in the emergency department.

Rubin will also collaborate with other departments to ensure care is delivered consistently and effectively across the board.
 
Rubin earned his medical degree from Dartmouth Medical School in Hanover, N.H. He was a resident in emergency medicine at the Medical College of Pennsylvania and completed a fellowship in emergency medical services at the Medical College of Wisconsin.
 
His career has also included the role of associate medical director at Milwaukee County EMS.
